This additional luminous material aided it in being a highly capable tool watch that we now know today has well-documented military use being issued to the French Marine Nationale and other countries' armed forces. Out of all the vintage tool watches the \"Snowflake\" is one of our absolute favorite choices for its distinctive design and special aura that nice examples can convey.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eThis particular black 842X serial example, circa '77 is without a doubt one of the most attractive \"Snowflakes\" we've sourced to date. This desirable blue variant has remained in stunning vintage condition with a very well preserved dial showing warm patina, matching the hands. Notably, the hands are also very well preserved with no cracking which is common to see in this model. The case is very strong and retains thick, even lugs with distinct chamfers still visible. Perhaps most attractive its its near mint and faded insert which has taken the perfect tone of blue to pair with the dial. It is paired to a 9315\/385 folded link with slightly earlier '72 date code. It shows very light stretch, a strong coronet and retains 11 links fitting an approximate 7.5 inch wrist.
