Authenticity & Guarantee
Sourcing high quality vintage watches is difficult, but it’s our passion. At CCNY, we spend hours researching authenticity and insuring all parts are correct (and in the process, we see the many ways to fake it). If we discover something has been repaired or replaced, we will disclose it. All watches are sold in working condition, verified by a highly experienced watchmaker with our guarantee that your purchase is authentic and as described or you will receive a full refund.
Shipping & Returns
Watches ship within 24 hours of funds clearing. The parcel will be packed carefully, and insured. If a package is lost, a refund will be issued once the insurance claim is approved and paid. Buyers are responsible for any taxes, tariffs, customs or duties due in the country of destination. Returns can be made with prior authorization from CCNY. The buyer is solely responsible for the safe-packaging, insurance, and expedited shipping costs of the return. The buyer agrees to assume any risks in shipping.
Inspection Period & Returns
You will have a 5-day inspection period for your purchase, beginning when the parcel is picked up. If you aren't satisfied, we ask that you contact us immediately for a refund authorization. Upon return, we thoroughly inspect cases, dials, and movements. We expect watches returned to us to be in the same condition as they left our safe, otherwise no refund will be made after the inspection period ends. These are vintage timepieces, and they were built to last generations with appropriate care and maintenance which becomes your responsibility after purchase. We make assurances for case-waterproofing unless otherwise stated. (We don't recommend swimming or showering in any vintage watch. However, we are happy to pressure test any Rolex or similar dive watch within a new enough production period for waterproofing).
