Credited with what we know as the modern dive watch, their now iconic Fifty-Fathoms just celebrated its 70th anniversary, having been released the same year as the Rolex Submariner in 1953. As a celebration of Jehan-Jacques Blancpain’s birthday, the brand’s original founder, the Jubilee Limited Edition Ultra-Slim was released in 1993 in a run of 300 pieces. This particular version, ref. 7001 is cased in 18k white gold with grey dial, Roman markers and sub-seconds. It houses a high grade 64-1. It also benefits from the practicality of a sapphire crystal and water resistance. This piece on offer has remained in stunning neo-vintage condition with mint dial/ hands and unpolished case with deep, crisp hallmarks. It retains its correct 18k BP signed pin buckle.
