Breguet Classique 3210BA - Signed Chaumet - Rare/*Unpolished*

Breguet is a renowned Swiss luxury watchmaker with a rich history that dates back over two centuries. The brand was founded in 1775 by Abraham-Louis Breguet, a watchmaker of great significance in the horological world. One of Breguet's most impactful contributions to horology was the invention of the tourbillon - a mechanism that compensates for errors in timekeeping caused by gravity's effects on the movement of the watch. Breguet patented the tourbillon in 1801, and it remains a highly regarded and sought-after complication in mechanical watches to this day. He is also credited with devising the wrist watch, inventing self-winding movements, balance springs, Breguet hands, numerals and guilloche.
Offered here is a rare early Breguet Classique from the coveted Chaumet era, dating to the 1980s. Produced during the period when Breguet timepieces were retailed through Chaumet Paris—the legendary French jeweler founded in 1780—these watches represent one of the most collectible chapters in the brand's modern history. Its elegantly proportioned 30mm case is crafted in 18k yellow gold and measures just 5mm thick, aided by a high-grade manual-wind movement. The beautifully hand-turned guilloché dial exemplifies meticulous craftsmanship of the era, complemented by a recessed sub-seconds register at 6 o-clock and signature heat-blued Breguet hands. Preserved in outstanding vintage condition, this piece retains a flawless dial, while the case shows y light signs of wear, with full, symmetrical lugs and crisp hallmarks. Its fitted with its correct 18k Breguet pin buckle, presenting a rare opportunity to acquire one of the finest expressions of Breguet's enduring design language.
