On offer is a stunning Patek Philippe, ref. 1532R, circa 1940s. It features a highly elegant rectangular "Tank" style case in pink gold with "hooded" lugs a brushed silver dial with enamel Arabic numerals at 3, 9 & 12 o-clock as well as lapped indices and small seconds at 6 o-clock. It is powered by a manual wind PP cal. 9-90 which is considered one of their most beautiful in-house movements in the "golden age" of watchmaking. It was leveraged for several other rectangular shaped watches from the late 30s to mid 50s.

This particular example has remained in excellent vintage condition. The raised enamel signature is very strong, as are the Arabic numerals. There is some light hand drag in the sub-register but it is not distracting. Overall, the dial presents beautifully, especially considering its age. The case is equally nice with strong dimensions and hallmarks still visible on its lug and side. There is a hand engraving that could easily be removed with our resources if needed. For anyone looking for the charm and quality of a "true vintage" Patek, this piece is a seldom seen find in pink gold at a good relative value in today's market.
