This four digit ref. 1601, circa '71 is one of the most striking two tone examples we've come across. It houses a stunning and uniquely aged champagne dial that has faded to a stunning "Havana" brown color. Some collectors would refer to this as a "Baby Ghost" dial as the logo comes in and out of visibility. All of the tritium plots are present, full and have aged to a warm patina. The bezel is sharp, appears unpolished and the case remains well proportioned with minimal distracting wear. It comes fitted to a correct and date matching 6251H with later 455 end links, showing minimal stretch, fitting an approximate 7.5 inch wrist. For anyone looking for a vintage DJ that's a cut above the pack, this piece hits all the notes one could hope for.

Bracelet: Correct 6251H with later 455 end links. It retains a strong coronet, showing very light stretch for its age and will fit an approximate 7.5 inch wrist. Crystal: Clear.
