The Rolex Oyster Precision remains one of the brand's most refined and "no frills" designs to this day. Going back several decades it is without a doubt one of Rolex' most beautiful, yet simple creations. Anyone with an average-sized wrist will find that the 34mm vintage case on the early references are as elegant on bracelet as they are strap.

This particular ref. 6426, circa 1974 remains in excellent vintage condition. It boasts a perfectly aged dial with all of its tritium plots present, full and aged to a nice patina, matching the hands. The case remains thick with evenly proportioned lugs. The clasp is marked S for service but the bracelet is a correct 7835 folded link with medium/light stretch, a nice coronet, fitting an approximate 8 inch wrist. For any collector looking for a highly charming and simple Rolex, this example is a true survivor. Its manual-winding movement also allows this model to be thinner at just 8mm so it is equally well-suited for being dressed up on leather. 

Dial: Is in stunning condition with no distracting wear. All of the tritium plots are present, full and have taken a warm patina, matching the hands. Bezel: Remains very sharp mith minimal wear. Hands: Are matching. All of their lume is stable. Case: Remains sharp with thick and even lugs. Light signs of use overall. Correct signed crown. Bracelet: The clasp is marked S for service but it is a correct folded link 7835 with light to medium stretch and a nice coronet on the clasp. It will fit an approximate 8 inch wrist. Crystal: Clear.
