Audemars Piguet are best known for the Royal Oak however, the brand produced a wide variety of other models and experimented with various dress watch designs such as perpetual calendars and more simple time-only designs. This "Tank" style watch of course harks from Cartier's iconic case shape and shares similar geometry with the exception of a slightly longer (32mm) lug-to-lug vs Cartier (30mm).
This particular AP "Tank" is not only a highly rare model, it is cased in white gold making it even more special. The dial has remained in fantastic condition with no distracting blemished and the case is still in sharp and unpolished. Luckily, the piece come accompanied by its 18k pin buckle, signed by AP. If you've been looking for a seldom seen and unique dress watch that's understated, this piece hits all the right notes.
