Blancpain is the oldest watchmaking company, dating back to 1735. The brand has weathered centuries and has a rich history of heritage, craftsmanship, and innovation. The Leman line overall is a fantastic blend of sport and dress inspired watches with the high build quality Blancpain are known for. We especially love their stepped cases with relatively short lug length which helps them feel more elegant on the wrist. The Aqua Lung was produced in a limited edition of 1999 pieces and is one of their most understated designs having a completely brushed finish. The dial and handset offer great legibility and generous amounts of lume. This piece also boasts a display back to show off its high-grade movement with an impressive 100 hour power reserve. Dial: Is mint with no blemishes under magnification. Bezel: Light and minimal surface wear. Hands: Are all correct however under UV the hour and seconds hand appear to be luminova (green) and not super luminova (blue). They could be color matched down the road. Case: Light signs of use consistent with age. There are some signs of use but nothing distracting. The lugs remain thick and evenly proportioned. Correct signed crown. Bracelet: Correct steel bracelet with minimal stretch. It will fit an approximate 7.5 inch wrist. Crystal: Clear. Accessories: A remarkably complete set that includes inner and outer boxes, warranty papers, booklets, sales and service receipts from BP and Tourneau, as well as period catalogs from BP.
