The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Tribute “No Radiations” is a thoughtful modern re-release and homage to one of BP's most historically important dive watches. Drawing inspiration from vintage military-issued Fifty Fathoms references, it preserves the defining design cues that made the original a legend among collectors and professional divers alike. Its deep black dial is accented by warm vintage-style lumed indices and the unmistakable “No Radiations” insignia — a historical marking used to signify the transition to safer luminous materials during the period. The longer lung length of the vintage models is simply too large on wrist and for anyone with medium sized wrists, the 40.3mm X 45mm feels much more ergonomic. With its unidirectional rotating bezel, sapphire display caseback, and 300 meters of water resistance, this watch is more than capable of everyday marine use.
