Cartier are undoubtedly known for their masterful and unique case designs which in recent years have caught more deserved attention from collectors the world over. The Cloche (bell in French) is one of their most iconic and comes from the early 20th century. Interestingly, this shape has a practical element in that the timepiece can be rested on its flat edge to function as a clock on a bedside table or the like. Numerous iterations have come up over the years and while most older models have become increasingly difficult to acquire, collectors were delighted to see a modern, all be it quite limited run as part of the Cartier Privé collection released in 2021 with just 100 pieces in yellow gold, rose gold and in platium for 300 total. 

We are delighted to offer this seldom seen Cartier design to its next custodian which is unlikely to be seen anywhere else in the wild. Although modern, this piece still feels small enough to be elegant on a wide range of wrists given its short lug length of just 37mm. This particular example is a first year production piece having been acquired in October of 2021. The watch remains in fantastic and very lightly use condition with a factory sticker remaining on the caseback. It of course comes complete with its boxes, warranty card and the addition of 3 unused straps.

Bracelet: Semi-matte black Cartier alligator strap with Cartier 18k pin buckle.
