This Croton Aquamaid appears to be circa 1950s and features an attractive egg-shell color dial, giving it warmth and character. What’s more interesting is the unique font on the dial, especially with regards to the different iteration of Breguet-style numerals. This is a perfect little vintage gem to give as a gift and wear as an understated piece.
Dial: Most of the radium in the indices is gone but it doesn’t appear distracting. Aside from the numerals, the off-white color is consistent.
Hands: Were expertly re-lumed and color matched.
Case: Was refinished during a prior service. No notable areas of wear. Unsigned crown.
Crystal: Clear.
Accessories: Single pass strap in green/brown.
The movement was recently serviced and is running well on our timegrapher. Comes with our 1-year mechanical warranty.
Year/era: 1950s
Dimensions: 23mm wide, 30mm lug to lug.
