Perhaps the most desirable oversized diver from Enicar, the Sherpa Ultradive is now well-known for being love by notable personalities from artist and collector Ed Sheeran to vintage watch expert Eric Wind. This particular example is nothing short of collector grade. It features a MK1 dial and double lollipop seconds hand. If you’re hunting for something unique with lots of wrist presence and excellent patina, look no further.
CONDITION REPORT
Dial: Extremely well-preserved with even patina throughout the matte dial. The tritium indices have aged to a stunning custard color.
Hands: The hour and minute hands were re-lumed and color matched by a top watchmaker. The tritium matches spot on and can only really be deciphered as newer under UV light. The second’s hand was not touched. All the hands are correct for the reference.
Case: Appears lightly polished previously but remains sharp. The lugs are thick and even. Very light and honest wear throughout. Caseback has little in the way of tool marks. The signed crowns are correct for the reference.
Bezel: The inner-rotating bezel has aged to a gorgeous and even cream color.
Crystal: Clear.
