Hamilton is one of the top American watch brands and is widely known for their production of military and field watches. This "Type B" example is one of their best known variants and displays an issue date of 1983 making it a Cold War era piece. Of course military time is displayed on the dial but this model is memorable for its "H3" and radiation symbol. This is commonly mistaken for the use of radium lume, however it was simply denoting of tritium which has an extremely faint hint of radiation. The military showed this on the dial as well as on their issued boxes for disposal. This piece displays loads of character and very well might have seen time on the wrist of a GI or pilot. The hands have take on a greenish patina and the watch is ready to wear on the next adventure.
