Issued in August of 1987, this particular GG-W-113 is a rare variant because of the screw style caseback it features. Most Hamiltons built in that specification were front loading movements (similar to many Benrus military watches). This Hamilton is from the final production run of Hamilton’s US military contract which ended in 1989. It features the hacking ETA movement which is most desirable among collectors.

Condition

The dial and hands are correct for the reference showing beautiful preservation and patina. The hands have all of their lume intact. Note that the minute hand had some cracking in the tritium so we had our watchmaker stabilize both of the hands to insure many more years of protection from degradation. The case has very light signs of use. Correct unsigned crown. The movement was serviced by our watchmaker and comes with our 1-year mechanical warranty.
