The Carrera was introduced in 1963 by Jack Heuer and saw many iterations throughout its production run. Notably, the model's focus was for automobile racing and featured a highly legible chronograph layout designed for timing land speeds. Today it is one of the brands most celebrated designs (now Tag Heuer) for its extensive racing pedigree and use with household names from Mario Andretti to Niki Lauda. 

In '96 Tag Heuer looked to their heritage reissue the Heuer Carrera as one of their first true heritage models. What ensued was a re-release that we have on offer here. It very well-executed, largely due to the proportions mirroring the vintage model and addition of acrylic crystal. This timepiece almost feels like having a new old stock original and at a reasonable market price. This example on offer houses the gloss black dial and has remained in fantastic neo-vintage condition. The case appears unpolished with thick, even lugs, showing minimal wear. It comes as a full set, including inner and outer boxes, warranty papers, dated '00 and booklets. 

Dial: Is fantastic and mint with all luminous plots still present and full. Bezel: Very light wear. Hands: Are matching. Their tritium lume is stable. Case: Appears unpolished with crisp edges and markings on it its caseback. Light signs of use overall. Correct pushers and signed crown. Bracelet: Racing strap in black leather. Crystal: Clear. Accessories: Full set, including innner and outer boxes, warranty papers, and booklets. The movement is running well on our timegrapher and comes with our 6-month mechanical warranty.
