Lanco, also known as Langendorf Watch Company, was a Swiss watchmaker founded in 1873. It could be said that Lanco was a pioneer in industrial revolution, producing tobacco and chicory products on a large-scale at its initial conception in the 1850s. With the changing times, Lanco’s production shifted to ebauches for other companies, but by the first World War, Lanco began production on military watches. Given their high quality parts coveted by other notable companies, their watches were high-quality and durable.

Lanco is a name not often seen or heard in collecting community which makes this piece a great option for someone looking for something that's unusual. This particular model features reliable Valjoux movement and just the right amount of neon accents on the dial to accent your summer attire. It looks particularly great with a denim shirt and we hope to find it a great new home to be enjoyed properly.

CONDITION REPORT

Dial: Very clean and well preserved. All of the tritium in the indices is present and evenly aged.

Hands: Darker patina in the tritium than that of the dial but they match one another.

Case: Extremely sharp and displays very minimal signs of use. Pushers and unsigned crown appear correct.

Crystal: Clear.
