A very unusual and unique Lip ‘Ninja’ chronograph with Valjoux 7733 movement. This piece is something of a unicorn and in full disclosure, we along with the previous collector have not been able to find a comp for this model to authenticate it. Lip did offer custom orders so it is possible that this watch is an example of just that. It could also be very small production run or prototype, but the scholarship remains unearthed for now.. The dial, hands, case and movement are all that of the well-known ‘Ninja’ model. The world time bezel is the piece we cannot find further information on. Authenticity aside, it is a funky and quintessentially 70’s piece that we know someone will enjoy thoroughly. Please reach out should you have any information on this watch.

CONDITION REPORT

Dial: Nicely preserved overall. There is some aging on the left sub-dial and on the outer edge by 4 o-clock but it is not distracting.

Hands: Appear correct for the model. Their tritium lume has aged evenly and remains intact.

Case: Light and honest wear throughout. The lugs are even in proportion. Light tooling marks on the caseback. Pushers appear correct. Unsigned crown.

Bezel: The rotating World Time bezel remains in excellent shape.

Crystal: Clear.
