This Marathon/Gallet bares one of the rarer reference numbers of "348" on the caseback and is very seldom seen. The military markings on the caseback show an issue date of March 1989. These General Purpose Mechanical watches are more often seen with just Marathon but finding the Gallet co-production variants is much tougher. We love the no frills design of these tool watches and believe they are starting to get the recognition they deserve as important pieces of horological history.

Condition

Dial is in fantastic shape and all of the tritium lume plots are intact. The hands are correct for the reference showing all of their lume intact. The case has some small dings from honest wear but remains in good condition overall. Period correct unsigned crown. The movement is running well and comes with our 1-year mechanical warranty. Comes on a brown single pass strap.
