The Porsche Design watches hold a special place in collector circles and have picked up enthusiasm in recent years for a broader audience. The ref. 7176 in its black PVD coated spec is affectionately nicknamed “Top Gun” for its presence on Tom Cruise' wrist in the original film. This particular example is not a PVD version but perhaps easier to pull off in its parkerized silver finish. We could not pass up on stocking it for its near mint condition and full bracelet with no stretch. The dial/hands are fantastic with no notable wear and beautiful even patina. For any PD purists, this piece also houses a German day wheel which is of course the home of the brand.
