Patek Philippe 5134G Travel Time Calatrava w/Box & Archive Papers - *Unpolished*
- Unit price
- /per
The neo-vintage Patek Philippe Calatrava Travel Time reference 5134 is a watch that we've long thought to be undervalued, considering the punch it packs. In virtually any other complicated Patek reference, you’re either spending a fortune or getting a very small case. However, neither are the case with the 5134 - it is perfectly sized at 37mm in diameter by 9mm thick (or in this case, thin). The solid gold case features an exhibition caseback displaying a beautifully finished, manually winding movement stamped with a Geneva Seal. The anglage, perlage, and Côtes de Genève striping are all finished to the level I’d expect from Patek. The dial is simple, balanced, and legible. It’s adorned with a brushed outer track of concentric circles and a smooth inner section, giving it depth and contrast against the grey metal case. The travel time complication is also the GMT/travel time complication is quite useful and easy to operate. If you’ve handled an Aquanaut Travel Time reference 5164, it works the exact same way.
In short, the 5134G is a neo-vintage, complicated Patek Philippe in solid gold with a manually-winding Geneva Seal movement. The 37mm case makes it a versatile play as either a dress watch or quasi-sports watch (see the crown guards). It’s the perfect watch for an avid adventurer, deep cut value collector, neo-vintage fan, or anyone, really!
