The Calatrava ref. 5134 is the perfect watch for any avid adventurer, deep cut value collector and neo-vintage fan in general. Compared to similar Patek refs, and notably the 5164 Travel Time, it works identically with ease of use in its GMT/travel time complication. With the 5134 being less than a third of the cost and being in precious metal, the relative value proposition starts to look very attractive, especially for those who prefer something off the beaten path and more under the radar. At 37mm the case is proportioned for medium to larger sized wrists and  features an exhibition caseback displaying a beautifully finished, manually winding movement stamped with a Geneva Seal. The anglage, perlage, and Côtes de Genève striping are all finished to the level I’d expect from Patek. The dial is simple, balanced, and legible. It’s adorned with a brushed outer track of concentric circles and a smooth inner section, giving it depth and contrast against the grey metal case. 

This particular example has remained in stunning neo-vintage condition with very light signs of use and no distracting wear. The case appears completely untouched with deep, crisp hallmarks and sharp edges. The dial/hands are also preserved in mint condition.
