The Patek Philippe Aquanaut was introduced in 1997 with the ref. 5060A as a younger and more modern take on the luxury sports watch. Its signature "grenade" dial matched to its comfortable rubber strap and though it was equally practical as it was  comfortable, it was unlike anything Patek had ever released prior and went largely overlooked for years.
