The Ellipse was initially released in 1968 and to this day remains potentially the most unique design from Patek Philippe. Many iterations featured quartz, however some were produced with mechanical movements and today as the model becomes more appreciated in the collecting sphere, we believe these examples deserve the most attention. 

This particular Ellipse ref. 3546, circa 1970s is cased in 18k white gold and houses a gorgeous blue sunburst dial, making for a lovely and desirable combination. At 27 x 32mm the vertical round case is perfect for small to medium sized wrists. It has remained in great vintage condition overall. The dial has some light spots of aging visible in the macro photography and such is the case with many examples of this era. They are not distracting to the naked eye. The case shows light signs of use and the bracelet is a stunning and tight mesh thats both seldom seen and comfortable on wrist. For anyone looking for a highly elegant PP with integrated bracelet, this piece hits all the right notes.

Dial: Is a beautiful blue sunburst variant. There are some light spots of wear visible in the macro photography. To the naked eye they are not distracting. Hands: Are matching and well-preserved. Case: Normals signs of use consistent with age. Correct signed crown. Bracelet: Remains in excellent shape with no stretch. It will fit an approximate 7 inch wrist. Crystal: Clear. Accessories: NA.
