The Patek Philippe Ellipse was introduced in 1968 and was quickly embraced as a forward looking, yet classic design. Its signature elliptical case has distinctive geometry and follows the golden ration, a proportion believed to be aesthetically perfect. 

This particular Ellipse, circa 1970s is referred to as the "Golden Circle" by collectors and  one of several variations of the model with manual winding movement. It housed a blue sunburst dial in its white gold case which is slim in proportion at 6mm. The dial remains in excellent vintage condition with no distracting blemishes and the case is very sharp and well-preserved. The combination of blue and white gold is truly one of our all-time favorite looks and we believe this dress watch is perfect for anyone looking for a high-grade dress watch that's a little off the beaten path.
