Not much is known about the Record watch company. It was acquired by Longines in 1961 and there are other examples of their pieces with both brand's signatures. This particular Record "Baignoire" however falls into the "find me another one" category as we legitimately have not been able to find documentation of another example. That said, there is one other example of this watch with both Longines and Record on its dial. We happen to prefer the cleaner look of this one having just Record. Not only does this piece remain in incredible "new old stock" condition, it just came back from an overhaul so its ready to rock for years to come. With its purple floral printed dial and quintessentially 1970's aesthetic, this one makes for the perfect conversation piece for anyone who loves design focused watches.
