The Rolex Submariner "Kermit" was first released in 2003 as a 50th anniversary piece to celebrate the model line. It was the first Submariner to feature a green bezel, maxi dial/hands and is now highly coveted for its historical significance. Rolex have produced very few anniversary watch models over the years and the 16610LV stands out as our favorite for its unique transitional features.

This F47X serial example, circa 2003-5 has remained excellent condition with a mint "mk2" dial and houses the desirable "flat four" bezel insert known in early examples. Notably, this insert has remained in fantastic condition with only light wear - a key for the value of this particular ref. The case has been lightly polished but displays thick and evenly proportioned lugs. The bracelet also been lightly touched up but looks very clean and displays light stretch, retaining 12 links. This set comes with inner and outer boxes, wax tag and Submariner booklet. For anyone looking for the "OG" Anniversary Sub this is a fantastic example to enjoy on wrist and one of our absolute favorite recs as for its collectible and practical features. 

Dial: Flawless Mk2 variant. Bezel insert: Is the desirable "flat four" variant, correct for early examples. Notably it has remained in fantastic condition with minimal wear. There is a light scuff near the pip but otherwise clean and difficult to find in this type of condition. Hands: Are matching. Case: Has been lightly polished in the past but retains thick and evenly proportioned lugs. Correct signed crown. Bracelet: Correct 93250 with 12 links and light stretch. No distracting wear. Crystal: Clear. Accessories: Inner and outer boxes, wax tag and Submariner booklet. The movement is running well on our timegrapher and comes with our 1-year mechanical warranty.
