The Rolex Submariner "Kermit" was first released in 2003 as a 50th anniversary piece to celebrate the model line. It was the first Submariner to feature a green bezel, maxi dial/hands and is now highly coveted for its historical significance. Rolex have produced very few anniversary watch models over the years and the 16610LV stands out as our favorite for its unique transitional features.

This D89X serial example, circa 2006 has remained in incredible unpolished condition. It comes as a full collector set, meaning that all accessories are included from both boxes, papers, serialized and wax tag, all booklets, paper wallet, bezel protector and both cloths. The watch retains a stickered caseback, which is unusual to find but most notably, the insert has remained in near new old stock condition with only the lightest signs of use. For someone looking for a true collector grade "Kermit," this piece still has a deeper "forest" green shade to its insert and has condition in spades.

Dial: Flawless MK2 variant. Bezel insert: Absolutely incredible and near "nos" preservation. There is a very small dent on the right side as well as one on the left, which are both visible in the macro photography. They are not distracting, nor very noticeable to the naked eye. Hands: Are matching. Case: Appears completely unpolished with factory finishing still visible. The left side of the case has a scratch that's shallow and visible in photography. Very light signs of use overall. Correct signed crown. Bracelet: Correct 93250 with 12 links and appears completely unpolished. There is no stretch and it displays very few marks or signs of use. The clasp has so little use it feels stiff to open. Crystal: Clear. Accessories: Both boxes, papers, serialized and wax tag, all booklets, paper wallet, bezel protector and both cloths. The movement is running well on our timegrapher and comes with our 1-year mechanical warranty.
