The Rolex Submariner "Kermit" was first released in 2003 as a 50th anniversary piece to celebrate the model line. It was the first Submariner to feature a green bezel, maxi dial/hands and is now highly coveted for its historical significance. Rolex have produced very few anniversary watch models over the years and the 16610LV stands out as our favorite for its unique transitional features.

This D47X serial example, circa 2006 comes as a full set and features the desirable Mk3 bezel insert which turns to lighter shades of lime green. This insert has remained in excellent condition and offers a great amount of tonal changes depending on light conditions, going from dark to light green in hard light. The case has been lightly polished but remains very nice with thick with even lugs, and the bracelet has light stretch. It's getting harder to find the ref. 16610LV this well preserved and complete of condition. This example even has open papers, meaning there was no client's name written on them at the time of its initial sale. This one could be just the opportunity to add a "Kermit" to your collection that's truly your own. 

Dial: Flawless MK3 variant. Bezel insert: Is excellent an excellent and sought after MK3 variant that tends to turn to a lime shade. This one has a very dynamic look in different light environments. Very light signs of use. No cracks in the pip. There is a light mark near with very light signs of use. No cracks in the pip. There is a light ding near "50" and a scuff under "20" that has not gone through the anodization. Hands: Are matching. Case: Very nice shape with thick and even lugs. No distracting dents or dings. Correct signed crown. Bracelet: Correct 93250 with 11 links and light stretch. Crystal: Clear. Accessories: Both boxes, papers, serialized tag, wax tag, and all booklets. The movement is running well on our timegrapher and comes with our 1-year mechanical warranty.
