The Rolex Date (34mm) is undoubtedly discussed less than its 36mm siblings; the now iconic Datejust and Day-Date. That doesn't mean the model should be overlooked however and we'd argue that the slightly smaller dimensions feel even more elegant on wrist, especially in yellow gold.

Speaking of gold, that brings us to this absolutely stunning Date ref. 15007, circa '87. It is housed in 14k yellow gold and features a matching "champagne" dial. Being a 5 digit reference it benefits from the practicality of a quickset date. This piece has remained in remarkable vintage condition with a mint dial and sharp, unpolished case, retaining a sharp bezel. The caseback shows an engraving that could be left to retain its story or brushed/lasered off if the next owner so chooses. Dial: Fantastic for its age. No blemishes to note of under magnification. All of the lume plots are present and even in color. Bezel: Extremely sharp and appears unpolished with very light wear. Hands: Are matching and all of their lume is stable. Case: Appears unpolished and extremely well-preserved with crisp edges, sharp lug holes and deep, crisp hallmarks. There is an engraving on the back that can be brushed off if the next owners so chooses. Correct signed crown. Bracelet: Two piece glossy green gator strap with Rolex plaque pin buckle.
