One of the cleaner executions of the iconic reference 1601, this watch was produced without any luminous tritium material on the dial and hands; a feature that’s much less commonly seen. This particular example also has an absolutely stunning dial that has faded from grey to various shades of lavender depending on light conditions. Between the unique dial patina and sharp case, this Datejust oozes character and makes for a subtle but excellent conversation piece.

CONDITION REPORT

Dial: Remarkable condition for its age. All of the aging is even and there are no blemishes under magnification.

Hands: Correct for the reference.

Case: Normal signs of use and nicely preserved overall. The lugs appear to have been lightly polished but remain thick and even. Correct signed crown.

Bracelet: Correct Rolex 6251H folded link Jubilee with 18 links. Displays light stretch for its age.

Bezel: Remains fairly sharp and well preserved. There are no significant dents.

Crystal: Clear.
