This ref. 228235 is Rolex's modern interpretation of the Day-Date at 40mm. Of course the most special variants of older Day-Dates featured stone and dials and the eisenkiesel carried on this tradition with its introduction in '21. The combination of brown and copper hues from this stone are just stunning and a perfect pairing for Rolex's signature "Everose" gold which leverages a mixture of platinum in its alloy to retain its color in future polishing. Out of all the diamond markers Rolex use, the baguette indices used on this dial are among the most impressive and all the while, subtle elevation to its' design. Most notably, this piece also feature a rare Arabic day wheel, making it undoubtedly more desirable.
