The Rolex Oyster Perpetual remains one of the brand's most refined and "no frills" designs to this day. This particular ref. 6565, circa 1953 houses a rare white sector and crosshair dial, making it a compelling find. The dial has taken a lovely warm "tropical" patina throughout and remains in excellent vintage condition. The case is equally stunning and remains very sharp with thick, even lugs and a sharp engine-turned bezel. Dial: Is a rare matte sector crosshair variant. The dial has "tropicalized" into a lovely and even warm tone. There is some degradation in the 4 and 8 o-clock radium plots but overall they remain in great shape and have aged cleanly for this era. The dial presents beautifully overall. Bezel: Appears unpolished. Is extremely sharp with light signs of use. Hands: Are matching. All of their lume is stable. Case: Remains extremely sharp with thick and even lugs.
