Following the release of the original Submariner "Kermit," which ran from 2003 to 2010 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Model, the "Hulk" or 116610LV provided some noteworthy updates. The new 6 digit reference featured a green sunburst maxi dial/hands which accentuate Rolex's primary brand color. The emerald tone it brings out in direct light is stunning. It also featured a "maxi" case with wider lugs which adds to its presence as a robust tool watch. The bezel insert was also updated to a ceramic variant, and while less engaging than the "Kermit" for its various insert moods and tones, the "Hulk's" dial can arguably make up for this and remains a more practical daily driver for its modern attributes. 

This scrambled serial example with 2019 warranty card comes from the tail end of the "Hulk's" production, having been discontinued in 2020 with the release of the "Cermit" or "Ceramic Kermit." Remaining in excellent and unpolished condition, this piece comes as a full set, including serialized hang tag. We're thrilled to offer this collector grade green Submariner, directly from its original owner to its next custodian. 

Dial: Flawless. Bezel insert: No damage or wear. Hands: Are matching. Case: Light signs of use consistent with normal wear. There are some light scratches but no tool marks on the backs of the lugs. Correct signed crown. The watch could be touched up to look new again but we'd recommend leaving it unpolished. Bracelet: Light signs of use. There are some marks on the clasp but nothing out of the ordinary. Fully linked with very light stretch. Crystal: Clear. Accessories: Both boxes, papers, serialized and wax tag, all booklets, paper wallet. The movement is running well on our timegrapher and comes with our 1-year mechanical warranty.
