The vintage Seiko now known as the "Bruce Lee" was of course worn by the famous Hong Kong-American actor and martial arts artist. Some sources say that it was his trusted companion into the late years of his life. Aside from its notoriety in Seiko collecting and in Pop culture, we now now know that the 6139 movement it housed was actually the first automatic chronograph movements to hit the market. In the 1960s, the Swiss industry was racing to bring this development (Zenith's  El Primero and Heuer's caliber 11) to market but were quietly beat out by the Japanese with the advent of the 6139. This "Bruce Lee" example is just a stunning piece to behold. Any level of collector would be hard pressed to find a cleaner condition dial/hands for this model and we look forward to placing it with a great new home.
