In 2023 Tudor's new Black Bay Fifty-Four release has easily been one of the highlights of the Swiss watch industry's novelties. Pulling from their earliest dive watch reference 7022, Tudor effectively re-released an iconic "small crown" Submariner from 1954. The updated 37.5mm case features slimmer all around proportions and an in house movement. This is a welcome change for anyone who prefers a more vintage aesthetic and for the purists, it's a package that's not only a joy to wear but immensely practical to own as a daily driver. The rose gold gilt indices and hands and off white lume add to its warmth, making it a great contender for a myriad of straps.

This particular piece has been modified by True Patina to resemble the legendary Tudor ref. 7923 with "pencil" hour/minute hands and "lollipop" seconds hand. This piece has also been fitted with an acrylic crystal for the added vintage experience, as well as a tritium pear at 12 o-clock so no detail has been overlooked.
