Tudor was founded in 1926 by the same father of Rolex - Hans Wilsdorf. The brand was created in order to offer the high quality that Rolex is known for at a more affordable price point. This was accomplished by leveraging their famous Oyster style Rolex cases to house mass produced ETA, Valjoux and other third party calibers. Tudor's offerings from the "Snowflake" Submariner to the "Montecarlo" are coveted by collectors today for their close connection to Rolex and arguably more interesting offerings through the decades.

The Tudor Submariner ref. 76100 was a transitional and lower production model that can be seen as a stepping stone between the ref. 94110 and ref. 79090. These subs are of course known for their whimsical "lollipop" hour hand but it should be noted the dial also deviates from the traditional Rolex sub with triangle markers at 6 and 9 o-clock. This piece on offer remains in absolutely stunning vintage condition with a mint dial, and unpolished case/bracelet.
