Part of the "holy trinity," Vacheron Constantin is known for its exceptional quality in watchmaking, on par with Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet. VC was founded in 1755 by Jean-Marc Vacheron who is credited with creating the first complication in high-horology. Today VC is the oldest continuously operating watchmaker. In the modern era, Vacheron Constantin may be best suited for understated collectors, since their designs are not overplayed by fashion houses and market hype.

Vacheron's Historiques line pays tribute to its heritage for over two decades. The 1921 refers to their iconic design from the roaring 20's, distinguished for its tilted dial for ease in legibility while driving. This piece boasts an absolutely gorgeous Breguet numeral dial, contrasted by a set of dark hands. This particular example is cased in white gold which we believe to be its most attractive variant and helps it balance between striking and understated. Collectors also strongly prefer this 36.5mm case size over its larger 40mm sibling. We're thrilled to offer this piece which is arguably one of the best modern dress watches produced today.
