One of the oldest watchmaking companies, Vacheron was founded in 1755 in Geneva, Switzerland. As part of the "Holy Trinity," along with Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet, VC is known for their high-quality and unique design language. Even today, however, the brand remains relatively under-appreciated considering their significant contribution to horology.

This particular example is a "gen 1" or "first series," model with the desirable automatic VC caliber. We believe the early batch examples will always be the most desirable and this piece features a less common white dial which is crisp and offers some depth with its' textured pattern. Watchonista published some helpful scholarship on the Overseas highlighting their collectibility. Notably, this reference is the smaller 35mm case which we believe is the more ergonomic version for smaller to medium sized wrists. Remaining in excellent neo-vintage condition, this piece boasts a mint dial and very sharp case/bracelet that remains tight. An archive extract is on order and will be provided to the new owner.

Dial: Is mint with all tritium luminous plots still present and full. Bezel: Remains sharp with light signs of use. Hands: Are matching and their lume is stable. Case: Retains sharp edges and very light wear. All of the markings on the caseback are clear and crisp. Correct signed crown. Bracelet: Shows minimal wear, remains tight and will fit an approximate 6.75 inch wrist. Crystal: Clear. Accessories: An archive extract is on order and will be provided to the new owner. The recently serviced movement is running well on our timegrapher and comes with our 6-month mechanical warranty.
