Tudor Serial Numbers

Dating a Tudor watch by its serial number can be more challenging than using Rolex serial numbers, largely because there is less historical information available for Tudor references. To make the process easier, we’ve compiled the Tudor serial number database below to help estimate the production year of your watch.

Historically, Tudor watch cases were supplied by Rolex, and the serial number can typically be found in the same location as on a Rolex. Look between the lugs at the 6 o’clock position, engraved into the case behind the bracelet.

While Tudor serial numbers cannot always provide a 100% precise production date, this guide should help narrow the age of your watch to approximately one year. It can also be a useful resource when purchasing a pre-owned or vintage Tudor, helping you determine whether the watch’s stated age and production period appear consistent with its serial number.
